As You Like It

The production of As You Like It at the University of Central Oklahoma was during Spring of 2017. I was a

 First Hand / Stitcher for the University of Central Oklahoma Costume Shop during this time. The photos below are process photos from when I cropped the sleeves of a maroon blazer. To begin cropping these sleeves I started by cutting off 10 inches from the original cuff, then continued by turning the edge under by half an inch. Once the newly cut edge was turned under half an inch I continued by pinning and pressing the new edge of each sleeve. I used the slip stitch, a hand sewing technique, to secure the new cuff of each sleeve. The purpose of cropping the sleeves of this blazer was to show the uniqueness of the character Phoebe.
